At Meridian Public Charter School, we inspire a passion for learning in our students and help them build their self-confidence and self-respect through immersive multilingual learning, research-backed literacy instruction, and local art partnerships.

Literacy and Language

Literacy is the foundation of learning at Meridian PCS. Every student receives strong literacy instruction from teachers committed to research-based practices.

Language learning is woven into daily life at Meridian PCS, reflecting our community's diversity. We offer Spanish instruction and celebrate our students' home languages several academic-based programs.

The Arts

The arts are brought to life through our elementary students who engage in weekly visual art classes, and middle schoolers explore building community and social emotional intelligence through our CREW club. We leverage our deep partnerships with museums, theaters, artists, and cultural institutions to transform our nation's capital into a living classroom.

What a season for Owl Nation Basketball!🦉🏀

Our Lady Owls finished the regular season 5–3 and made the playoffs for the third straight year—a true testament to their hard work and dedication.

Our Boys Basketball team made history with a 6–2 record, earning the #2 seed and the first playoff berth in school history, capped off by a thrilling 29–28 win.

The boys advance to the Conference Championship on Thursday, Feb. 5.
